Repent Harlequin is not the usual kind of story that we see.   It does, however, cause you to think.  And that is the most important thing to remember in this class–Think!  Would you be one of the people who helped the Harlequin or one of the ones who turn him in?

Notes Notes Notes Notes Notes   Sheesh!  When are we going to stop taking notes?  Never!!  Notes are great.  You get to hear the information and write it down.  By writing it down you are imprinting, or making a picture of it, in your brain.

Your brain goes to sleep and during the night it takes that information and makes an impression in your  brain.  The next day you know that information !  Trouble is, you need to learn how to Access that information!  Learn to use that little button in your head to open that file.  Tests, or Celebrations of Knowledge, are there for you to show off.  Show me what you know by learning those notes.  Trust me.  They will come in handy.

Let’s begin by finding out what you know about me and 8th grade English.  Write to me and give me a little insight.  Remember to use correct grammar.  Even though this is a blog, you need to remember I am an English teacher.  Always write as if you wouldn’t mind your grandmother reading what you wrote.  Keep it clean.

Then let me know a little bit about you too, hobbies, sports, crafts, collections – whatever.

Thanks for visiting.   Mrs. DuClos
