Welcome to the support page for BISD blogs. If you don’t see the answer to your question here, please feel free to email us at it@burlesonisd.net or leave a comment on this page and we’ll do our best to help you.
BISD Blogs General Information
- BISD Blogs are provided as a courtesy service for all BISD Employees.
- To create a BISD Blog you must have a BISD email address.
- Students may not create blogs, but may serve as CONTRIBUTORS on employee created blogs. (For more help, see our help document section, or contact IT at it@burlesonisd.net to set up student accounts).
- BISD Blog users agree to follow all BISD AUP guidelines. Creation of a blog demonstrates agreement.
- BISD Blog blogs found to be out of compliance with the BISD AUP can be deleted and the users may lose blogging priviledges. A copy of the Acceptable Use Policy can be found in our Help Documents below.
Browser Information
- BISD Blogs can be VIEWED in an y browser.
- BISD Blog creators will need to use Firefox or Safari (MAC) to use all of the features built into the blogs.
- Firefox can be downloaded here – http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
- Firefox should not and will not be loaded on student computers. Student can write as contributors to a teacher’s blog using Internet Explorer.
